We hiked up the West Fork trail at the Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona, Arizona this weekend. The last time we hiked there was during Thanksgiving week (November) and it wasn't so green. This time there was a constant drizzle throughout our hike, and it was an experience to remember. There are stream crossings throughout the hike, and the trail ends where the canyon walls close upon each other. The water gets pretty deep there too, but we met some crazy hikers who had hiked down the canyon, waded through the water and were going back up the West Fork trail.

Can you believe this place is in Arizona? Just a couple of hours from Phoenix too!
